Welcome
ASIFMA's India Repo Forum and Training Course, to be held at The Leela Kempinski Mumbai on
22-23 November, is presented in partnership with the Fixed Income Money Market and Derivatives
Association of India (FIMMDA) and with the support of ACI and ICMA. This Forum will bring together the
major participants and regulators in the Indian repo market for a high level exchange of ideas intended
to foster the further development of the Indian market.
As a separate stream on Day 1 of the conference, we will be providing the Professional Repo Market Course
for
junior and mid-level professionals active in the repo and securities lending markets in India and elsewhere
in Asia.
This course, which will be lead by Professor Richard Comotto, is similar to the very-well received
events that ASIFMA
and ICMA have run successfully throughout Europe and Asia. It aims to educate and
inform professionals interested in
learning more about the basic documentation, operations and economics
of the securities lending and
repo markets.
