Dates: Tuesday-Wednesday, 5-6 June 2018
Location: Marina Mandarin Hotel Singapore (Leo & Capricorn Room, Level 1)
Objective: As policymakers and industry leaders promote the development of green finance in Asia and globally, GFMA and ASIFMA have increasingly worked with public and private stakeholders to build understanding of how capital markets can be best leveraged to support
sustainable economic growth. This conference, organized in partnership with the UN Climate Change Secretariat and UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, will highlight the key role the financial services industry must play in the transition to sustainable development, including the mainstreaming of green
securities and how enthusiasm for such financial instruments has grown among investors.
Program Format: Two-day conference featuring keynote speeches, panel discussions, roundtables and networking sessions, with Day One featuring high level discussions on the potential for green finance and the mainstreaming of green financial instruments, while Day Two focuses on more technical roundtables and case studies.
Speakers: In partnering with other organizations to organize a series of green finance events, we expect this conference to attract many notable industry leaders from the buy side and sell side, ratings agencies and other market participants, as well as senior regulators and policymakers.
Sponsorship: Sponsorship opportunities are open to members of GFMA and ASIFMA, as well as other industry influencers. Active green finance practitioners are particularly encouraged.
Delegate Profile: Expected to attract 200-300 industry representatives, initially by invitation-only and then marketed to a wider audience.
Delegate Passes: Delegate passes for this conference are free-of-charge for selected regulators, government officials, buy side and corporate treasurers. Please email Gigi Ma (
firstname.lastname@example.org) to request a complimentary pass.
The standard fee for other participants is USD600, while GFMA/ASIFMA members and conference sponsors and endorsers are eligible for a discounted rate of USD500. ASIFMA is a non-profit industry association, and these fees are used to offset the costs of this conference.
