Ashish heads the Singapore office of Nishith Desai Associates and focuses on commercial litigation, international arbitration and white-collar crimes. Ashish is also a leader in the Corporate Transactions Group and is regularly called upon to troubleshoot sensitive issues emanating from complex investment structures and emerging investment products including cryptocurrency. He is a registered foreign lawyer with the Legal Services Regulatory Authority, Singapore and the Singapore International Commercial Court. He is an honorary overseas member of the Commercial Bar Association (England & Wales) and member of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association. He has advised on and lead several sensitive transactions. He has successfully represented several prominent individuals, private equity investors and corporate houses before the courts in India and in domestic and international arbitrations. He has an excellent record of building and implementing cogent strategies for resolution of complex international disputes. He is a regular speaker at law schools and seminars and actively contributes to various international publications.
