Eddy Wong joined Amundi as Chief Executive Officer, Asia in November 2023. Mr. Wong leads Amundi’s business in Asia (ex-Japan), as well as Amundi’s joint ventures in mainland China. Mr. Wong has over 20 years’ experience in financial industry. Prior to joining Amundi, he was with JPMorgan Asset Management, which he has worked for 18 years. Mr. Wong’s last position held was CEO of JPMorgan Asset Management China, where he drove the unification of the China business and oversaw its business strategy across different functions. Before that, Mr. Wong was the Chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Asset Management Taiwan and Head of Funds Business in Hong Kong and China. He also held senior positions in Eastspring Investments and HSBC Asset Management. Mr. Wong obtained Bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto, Canada, with a major in Economics and a minor in East Asian Studies.
