George Jia is DTCC’s Country Manager for Greater China. In his current role, George is responsible for managing DTCC’s businessin the Greater China region. In addition, George also plays a key role in Industry Relations – overseeing the company’s relationships and initiatives with industry associations and market infrastructures in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. He has been with the company since April 2009.

George came to Omgeo (fully acquired by DTCC in 2013), from Thomson Reuters, where he headed the China Expert Network
business unit, focusing on providing primary research to the hedge funds industry.

George holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada.
