Graham is the Senior Executive Leader for Data, Analytics and AI for the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). He has responsibility for data strategy, data management and is ASIC’s Chief AI Officer.

Graham studied law and computer science at the Australian National University. He worked as an analyst programmer for the Commonwealth Attorney General’s Department before specialising in information technology law. Much of his career has been spent in-house with financial services institutions including Barclays (London), Standard Chartered (London), Deutsche Bank (London, Sydney and Singapore) and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (Sydney). His practice evolved with the technology and embraced legal work arising from Y2K, eCommerce, data protection and privacy regimes, offshore outsourcing, cloud computing, cybersecurity and most recently, AI.
