John Abel is currently the Executive Director of Clearance & Settlement, Product Management at the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC).

John’s primary responsibilities include managing the DTCC equity Clearance & Settlement business units as well as identifying, evaluating and developing strategic business opportunities within DTCC’s Clearance & Settlement product lines.

John began his career at DTCC in 1987, and has held a number of operational and project related positions.
