Dr. Jooyoung Yun is the CIO and Head of Investment Solutions at Global X Japan. He oversees product strategy, portfolio management, investment research, and trading functions for the firm. He is also responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the global ETF business in the APAC region, having joined as a founding member of Global X Japan in 2019.

Dr. Yun has over 25 years of experience in the ETF and passive fund industry. Before joining Global X Japan, he served as the head of the ETF business unit at Mirae Asset Global Investments. Dr. Yun holds a Ph.D. and a master’s degree in Financial Engineering from KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), and earned his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Korea University.
