As Treasurer of ADB since 2015, Mr. Van Peteghem ensures that ADB maintains the financial capability to respond to the needs of its developing member countries. He is in charge of planning and managing ADB’s financial resources and conducting financial transactions arising from loan operations. He oversees the funding, investments, financial policy and planning, treasury client solutions, and treasury services divisions. He has over 20 years of Treasury-related and investment banking experience with almost 10 years at the African Development Bank where he was Treasurer and Chairman of the Credit Risk Committee. Mr. Van Peteghem has a Doctorate degree in Economics and Masters degrees in Management, Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering.
