Sam Shen is currently the executive President (chief researcher) of Shenzhen Greater Bay Area Financial Research Institute, vice president of Shenzhen Think Tank Alliance, member of Shenzhen Decision-making Advisory Committee, member of Fujian Free Trade Zone advisory Committee and many other free trade zone advisory committee. 

Sam Shen’s research field includes valuation theory and practice of high-tech enterprises, Internationalization of RMB, asset management model, digital economy, theory and practice of free trade Zone, fintech research, etc. He has led and presided over more than 200 projects related to finance, programming, international economy and trade, digital economy, and published many academic monographs. As the principal of the project, he presided over the “14th Five-year Plan” of many provinces and autonomous regions in China.
