Yongchuan is the portfolio manager of the Ternary Cypress Fund, a Singapore-based hedge fund focused on real assets investing. The fund gives investors exposures to real assets such commodities, infrastructure and farmland and has generated annualized returns of ~30% since inception. Prior to launching the Cypress Fund, he spent twelve years with D E Shaw in their asset-backed investing business.
