Serena Wu is the APAC Head of Buy-side Trading and Asset Services Solutions at FIS, based in Hong
Kong. She leads product strategy and management across Asia Pacific, delivering front-to-back financial
infrastructure solutions for asset managers, asset owners, private equity firms, and hedge funds.
With over a decade of experience in financial services and capital markets, Serena has held diverse roles
across investment banking, strategy consulting, and product management at Fortune 500 banks and
fintech firms in Hong Kong and New York.
Prior to FIS, Serena led the Corporate Strategy function at American Express’s global headquarters in
New York, serving as a strategic advisor to C-suite executives on enterprise-wide growth and
transformation initiatives. Earlier in her career, she worked in investment banking at Deutsche Bank and
Rothschild in Hong Kong, where she advised on IPOs, M&As and capital market transactions for clients
across Asia.
Serena holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Hong Kong and an
MBA from Columbia University. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
