Matt joined IMC in 2008 as a graduate Options Trader. He started trading Australian Equity Options, before moving to Hong Kong in 2010 to trade Hong Kong Index and Equity Options. In 2012 Matt returned to Sydney, helping to roll out IMC’s automated Options Trading System for Hong Kong Equity Options before transitioning to Delta 1 in 2014, trading Japan Futures and ETFs.  

During his career at IMC, Matt has led numerous trading teams in APAC across Equities, Structured Products, Futures and ETFs in the Hong Kong, Japan and Korea markets. In addition to his trading responsibilities, Matt has also been heavily involved in designing and delivering trading internships, recruitment, traineeships and global trader training.    

Matt joined the IMC Partnership in 2021, and was appointed as Interim Managing Director, APAC in December 2022, before officially assuming the role in 2023.
