Event Overview

ASIFMA, ICMA, ISDA and Deloitte are pleased to invite you to join the webcast on the 27th September 2019 where our subject matter specialists will be providing key industry and market updates on the discontinuation of LIBOR both globally and from an Asia Pacific perspective.

On the webcast our speakers will cover the following topics:
• Overview of LIBOR transition
• Regulatory and market developments globally and in Asia Pacific
• Industry updates on fall-back language and the development of term RFRs
• The risks of the transition and what are financial institutions doing

Interbank Offered Rates (IBORs) are used as an underlying reference point for valuing many financial contracts around the world. There is a material risk that the London Interbank Offered Rates (LIBOR) from London may not be sustained beyond 2021. The transition of IBORs in general could be a substantial issue for financial services firms as their preparedness for transition comes under increasing scrutiny from supervisors in markets they operate.
