Wang Lei is currently the Deputy Director-General of Capital Account Management Dept., State Administration of Foreign Exchange(SAFE), who has engaged in policy-making of Capital Account Liberalization of China and supervising the relevant cross-border transactions for over 15 years.
Wang has participated in the development of a series of policies which open up Chinese financial sectors, such as QFII/RQFII,CIBM,etc. Therefore, she has extensive experience and understanding of these policies and regulation trends.
Wang graduated from Peking University of China, and holds her Ph.D in Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance.
