Balaji Balasubramanian is a Partner at PwC India, based in Mumbai. He joined PwC in October 2018 and focuses on Financial Services clients on matters relating to India & Bangladesh.

Balaji advises Foreign Portfolio Investors/Funds from a Tax & Regulatory perspective, specifically on their India entry strategy and offshore/ onshore platform set-up. Balaji has advised on large Banking/Non-banking M&A transactions in India, apart from assisting clients on niche banking & capital markets projects both in the mainland and Gujarat International Finance Tec-City/ International Financial Services Centre.

Balaji has been part of delegations discussing with Indian regulators and tax authorities on various policy matters impacting the industry.
