Charles Lin is CEO of GF Holdings (Hong Kong) Corporation Limited, the international platform of GF Securities Co., Limited (“GF Securities”). GF Securities is one of the top ten investment banks in China.

Charles has more than 17 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining GF Holdings (Hong Kong), Charles was Vice Chairman of CLSA and responsible for the overall international strategy and growth. Before that, he spent eight years at Vanguard in Hong Kong, most recently as CEO of Asia, overseeing the business across the region, including Japan. Charles was instrumental in the growth and expansion of Vanguard’s business in Greater China. Previously, he was Head of Greater China for Brazil’s Itaú Asia Securities based in Hong Kong, responsible for developing their equity and fixed income trading business with central banks, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and insurance companies. Charles has also worked at Deutsche Asset Management where he developed its QDII business in China.
