As ESG lead, he set the scoring protocol used by the firm’s analysts across Asia, and also curates a range of thematic research alongside sector analysts. He previously directly covered Greater China cleantech stocks from 2004, and was the top-rated earnings estimator for Asian Utilities in both 2018 and 2019 according to Starminer. Charles has a BS in Finance from the University of Minnesota, and studied Chinese language and economics at Fudan University in Shanghai.
