Ms Heng is Clifford Chance’s Regional Managing Partner in Asia Pacific and a member of the firm’s Global Executive Leadership Group.

A leading capital markets lawyer with a career spanning over 25 years, Ms Heng previously built and led the firm’s Capital Markets practice in Asia Pacific, which is recognised for its market-leading position with consistent Band 1 rankings from Chambers, Legal 500 and IFLR.

She has advised governmental institutions, leading banks, financial institutions and corporates in China and Hong Kong on their international capital markets fund raisings, including numerous innovative and landmark transactions. She has represented issuers and underwriters in a wide range of Rule 144A/Reg S securities offerings, including standalone issues, MTN Programmes and hybrid capital issuances. She is recognised as a Leading Individual by Chambers Asia Pacific and Legal 500.

Ms Heng has been part of the Clifford Chance delegation to the World Economic Forum in Davos since 2012, and is a frequent public speaker on the latest developments in law, finance and business in Asia Pacific. She sits on the board of The Karen Leung Foundation, a charity dedicated to raising awareness of gynaecological cancer in Hong Kong. An advocate for better inclusion and gender parity in the legal profession, she founded the first women’s network for Clifford Chance in Asia Pacific. She was awarded Asia Legal Business’ Managing Partner of the Year in 2022.
