Denise is the Asia Pacific managing partner of Reed Smith. She is based in Hong Kong and has a career of over 20 years built on corporate transactions mainly in Greater China and Southeast Asia.

Denise’s diversity of practice has seen her lead about 50 successful IPOs on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, hand hold start-ups, be in the thick of private equity investments, and negotiate and execute both public company takeovers and private company M&A. After IPO, she continues to advise clients on secondary debt and equity issues, spin-offs, corporate governance, compliance and regulatory investigations.

Throughout her career, Denise has advised on a number of high profile corporate restructurings and privatisations of listed companies in Hong Kong. She is consistently recognised by independent legal directories including Legal 500, Chambers and Partners, and IFLR1000.

Between 2008 -2015, Denise was a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
