Desiree Wang, is China Country Head and Chairperson of China Management Meeting, J.P. Morgan Asset Management. As China Country Head, she oversees all of the firm’s business activities in China, including Funds, Institutional, Liquidity, cross‐border programs, strategic Chinese and global client relationships.

Desiree joined the firm in 2008 as a client advisor for Chinese institutions, took up the role as Head of China Institutional Business in 2009, expanded to China Country Head in 2014.

Prior to joining the firm, she had worked for Merrill Lynch since 2004 and BlackRock following the merger in 2006, both based in HK with focus on developing asset management business in China. Her career started with 4 years at ICBC head office in Beijing.

Desiree obtained an MSc in Finance from the University of Manchester, UK, and a BA in Economics from the University of International Business and Economics, Beijing. She is a CFA charterholder.
