Eric is the Head of Business Development for Asset Servicing, and is responsible for strategic planning and development of the division’s business in the Asia Pacific region.

Eric has a career spanning more than a decade in the Global Financial markets, and has held key leadership positions across Asia Pacific region with extensive business management experience.

Prior to joining BNY Mellon, he was appointed as Director for Derivatives with SGX where he developed derivative solutions to meet increasing needs of sophisticated investors, and was the Regional Head of Equity Finance and Derivatives Trading at Daiwa Capital Markets where he was instrumental in growing the Asian Derivatives business. Eric also has extensive experience in index arbitrage, single stock derivatives, options and FICC products. He understands not only the trading, structuring and settlement processes but also the risk aspects of the overall markets.

Eric has been a keynote speaker in many industry and client events including leading global exchanges. Furthermore, Eric serves as an International Expert in the Asian Bond Markets Forum of the Asian Development Bank where he provides thought leadership in specialist areas of Market Infrastructure, Trading & Secondary Market development as well as cross border collateral management. He is a member of the Hong Kong Exchange Global Custody council and various regional industry associations.

Eric holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science (hons) degree from the University of Bradford, School of Management.
