Irene Yiu

Irene Yiu is Head of Global Markets Transversal Compliance Office Asia Pacific at BNP Paribas. Based in Hong Kong, Irene is responsible for leading the bank’s transversal compliance across the region in Global Markets. She is the representative in the Hong Kong Association of Banks (HKAB) Wealth Management Committee.

Prior to her current role, she was Head of Policies and Markets Integrity Advisory Compliance APAC and Head of Regulatory Review APAC. Before joining BNP Paribas, Irene led teams in London and Hong Kong offices at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Irene holds a Master of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy. Irene is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder, Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Certified Public Accountants (CPA).
