Fang Jian is the go to person on China’s financial regulations and cross-border M&A transactions in China’s financial sector. With more than 20 years in the sector, Fang Jian has advised the leading international and domestic financial institutions in respect of the most complex and groundbreaking projects. A few examples include advising on the first QFII application, the first securities joint venture in China, the first foreign investment in China’s financial asset management company and advising the launch of the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect.
