John Buckley is the Chief Operating Officer of Citadel in Asia.

John has more than 25 years of experience in financial services. Prior to joining Citadel, he spent seven years at JPMorgan Chase, most recently serving as the Chief Risk Officer for Asia Pacific, and previously as Chief Financial Officer for Asia Pacific. Before that, John served as President of Omnium, a Citadel business that was later sold to Northern Trust. He began his financial services career with Lehman Brothers in 1992 and in 2001 was appointed Chief Financial Officer for Asia.

John received a bachelor’s degree, with honors, from Imperial College London.
