John Wu is Associate Director, Business Development based in Hong Kong.   In his current role, John is responsible for providing strategic direction to expand DTCC’s business in Institutional Trade Processing and Data Services in Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand.  John spent six years managing South-East Asian markets based in DTCC Singapore before moving to Hong Kong in the summer of 2014 to assume his current role where his remit later expanded to include first Taiwan and later, Australia and New Zealand.   John joined Omgeo, now DTCC, as part of Omgeo’s inaugural Future Talent Program in 2008.

Prior to DTCC, John was holding client facing roles at Thomson Reuters where he was among the top 5% selected to attend Thomson Reuters Presidents’ Club in 2013 – for overachieving business target.

A consistent over-achiever, John holds a Bachelor of Computing (Honours) degree in Electronic-Commerce from the National University of Singapore.
