Kelly McKenney is head of distribution for Asia (ex-Japan), responsible for Tradeweb’s buy-side growth in the region. Mr McKenney joined the company in September 2006 as Director of Sales, responsible for France.

Prior to joining Tradeweb, he was Director of Sales for France and Benelux at MarketAxess, pioneering e-trading fixed income solutions for institutional investors and banks. Before this role, he spent 9 years at Deutsche Bank/Bankers Trust where he was a Vice-President in the Futures and Options Division, based in Paris and London. Mr, McKenney’s role was sales and execution of derivative solutions for institutional clients. His first position in financial markets was with Societe Generale in Paris where he was responsible for marketing OTC bond options and warrants.

Mr McKenney graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada in 1991 with an MBA – Finance Specialisation. His undergraduate degree was received from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada in 1987 where he obtained a BSC(Honours) in Geology.
