Bio: Khashayar Surti has over 15 years of experience trading equities in APAC. He started his career at Edelweiss Capital on the quant desk within the firm’s principal trading group and held various positions over 4 years. Khashayar then moved to Singapore in 2008 and worked as a senior trader at two hedge funds where he traded equities and derivatives across APAC. He later gained 4 years of equity sales trading experience at Barclays followed by 1 year as facilitation trader and another 2 years as FX market maker. Khashayar joined UBS Asset Management in March of 2018 and currently trades equities in the region for active and passive investment managers along with fixed income rates products.
