Lawrence Lu has over 20 years of professional experience in Account Management, Business Development, Strategic Alliance and Ecosystem Development, Channel Management, Solution Selling, Operation and People Management areas with extensive customer engagement experience in industries such as FSI, Education, Government, Telco, and Healthcare etc.

With a strong entrepreneurial mindset complemented by sharp business acumen, Lawrence has proven track records in building business from scratch, especially in helping companies penetrate into new markets and grow install base through defining and implementing new business strategies and forming strategic partnership.

Currently Lawrence holds the post of Managing Director in Tongdun International and responsible for the global market. He started the Tongdun global business from ground up since 2018 and managed to establish the business in 12 countries across 3 continents. Till date, Tongdun International business has successfully penetrated in various industries, such as Banking, Consumer Finance, Microfinance and E-commerce etc. Tongdun enjoys many key wins with the top players in Asia region.

Prior to joining Tongdun, Lawrence was the Global Practice Lead at Hewlett Packard. He managed to guide large financial institutions in the region who are embarking on their digital transformation journeys, which resulted in improving customer experience, increasing operational efficiency and reducing cost.

Besides that, Lawrence held various senior positions and led diverse-cultural teams within the APAC region in companies such as Aspect Software and Avaya.
