Michael is head of Emerging Markets Rates Trading in Asia Pacific. He is a member of the Securities Division Risk Council, Asia Pacific Risk Committee, Goldman Sachs International Asset & Liability Committee, and Goldman Sachs International Bank Asset & Liability Committee.

Previously, Michael managed the Short Term Macro Trading and GBP Rates Trading desks in London. Before that, he traded USD swaps in New York. He joined Goldman Sachs as an analyst in 2006 and was named managing director in 2015.

Michael represents the firm on the board and executive committee of Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association.

Michael earned an MA in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Oxford.
