Quentin Webb is the Journal’s Asia markets editor, overseeing a team of reporters in Hong Kong and Shanghai. He joined The Wall Street Journal in Hong Kong in July 2018 after working for 15 years as a reporter, columnist and editor at Reuters. His most recent role was as Asia Financial Editor in Hong Kong for Breakingviews, the financial commentary arm of Reuters. Among other things, he has previously covered credit markets and M&A for Reuters in London, and reported on the European Commission from Brussels. He has a degree in psychology from University College London.
