Sameer is a Partner in EY’s Financial Services Consulting Practice in Hong Kong, having joined from EY US to serve EY’s banking and asset management clients. He moved to Hong Kong 5 years ago and overall brings 18 years of risk management and large program delivery experience within the Banking and Capital Markets and Wealth/Asset Management sectors.

 Sameer has extensive experience with broad enterprise risk and governance, internal controls, operational risk, compliance risk and regulatory remediation. He is currently working with various Hong Kong banking institutions across a number of topics under the ESG / Climate risk agenda across the Hong Kong and APAC markets.

 Sameer has earned his MBA in Accounting and Finance from Syracuse University (New York) and is also a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
