Seiichiro Uchi is Managing Director of MSCI based in Japan, leading MSCI’s index and ESG business. He joined MSCI in September 2010. Prior to joining MSCI, he worked for S&P Index Services as a head of index marketing for Asia Pacific. He is a frequent speaker at pension/investment conferences, and contributed various articles regarding benchmarks and asset management to the industry publications. He is also an advisor to WE EMPOWER JAPAN organized by European Union and UN Women. He received BA in Law from Waseda University, and received Masters Degree in Finance from Waseda Graduate School of Finance.
