Steph van Loon is a planning advisor in the Blended Finance and Investor Engagement Unit within Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. She is responsible for managing Australia’s infrastructure work in emerging markets in the Indo-Pacific through the Private Infrastructure Development Group and building pipeline of investible deals by supporting impactful funds to scale through DFAT funded Convergence design funding windows. Steph is passionate about using financial systems to increase action for social and environmental impact. Steph holds an MBA (Social Impact) from the University of New South Wales.
