Angus Kathage is a sector specialist in the Blended Finance and Investor Engagement Unit within Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Within the unit, Angus is responsible for managing and overseeing DFAT’s blended finance investment mechanisms. Angus is also responsible for managing Australian Development Investments (formerly the Emerging Markets Impact Investment Fund) – the Australian Government’s own impact investment fund. Angus has spent over a decade working on Australia’s development program as well as working as a private sector development specialist within the World Bank in Washington DC. He has an Msc in Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics.
