Tom has been based in Hong Kong since 2015 and serves as Lloyd’s General Representative for Hong Kong. Tom is responsible for Lloyd’s operation in Hong Kong and leads market development and liaison with regulatory authorities in the territory to protect and promote Lloyd’s presence in Hong Kong.

Tom moved to Hong Kong from London where he held roles in Lloyd’s Global Markets Strategy and International Regulatory Affairs teams. There Tom was responsible for engagement with the London market to develop Lloyd’s new establishment and growth strategies for Africa, Latin America and Asia. Prior to Lloyd’s, Tom worked in the public affairs team of Insurance Europe in Brussels, dealing with policy changes affecting the European life and general insurance and reinsurance industry.
