Timothy Yip is currently the Head of Debt Capital Markets, Investment Banking Department, at HSBC Qianhai Securities Limited, based in Shenzhen. Prior to this, he was Head of Cross Border RMB Bonds as a member of the HSBC HK Debt Capital Markets team, of which he has been instrumental in numerous landmark offshore RMB, onshore RMB, US$ and local currencies transactions. Mr. Yip  has a wide range of experience across different markets, products and currencies spanning the capital structure and previously worked in New York and London.

He holds a BSc Economics degree from the London School of Economics.
