Tobias joined BNP Paribas in London in 2005 and strongly focused on deregulated utilities markets, with a special emphasis on Carbon Emissions, Power, Natural Gas and Freight Derivatives markets.

Since 2009, Tobias has been developing various listed Commodity Derivatives Markets in APAC and since re-located to Singapore. The current Energy transition in the region and environmental challenges have become a market development focus area for Tobias and his team.

Tobias studied Economics and Business at the University of Duisburg in Germany, with a focus on Money Markets and Supply Chain Management. Before working for BNP Paribas, Tobias worked on raw material logistics, steel and power markets with Veolia Environment in Germany.
