Woochang Chung was appointed the head of Global Equity Research Team of Mirae Asset Daewoo in 2020.

Woochang is responsible for planning, directing, and presenting analysis to demonstrate and enhance the value of domestic and global research ideas to existing and prospective customers.

Prior to this role Woochang was the global consumer sector analyst, responsible for covering various consumer sectors in Korea, USA and China, including consumer staples, discretionary, leisure, restaurants and cosmetics.

Woochang joined Mirae Asset Daewoo in 2012 in Korea after working as a sector analyst in RBS, Macquarie, and Samsung Securities over 12-year period.

He holds a Bachelor of Economics from Seoul National University, Korea.
