Yang is a senior engineer, registered consulting engineer, and holds a masters degree from the engineering college of Dalian University of Technology. Yang is also the secretary general of China Smart Energy Industry Alliance of China Smart City Construction Investment (CSCCI), who is committed to providing one-step integrated solutions such as policy research, standard formulation, green evaluation and international cooperation. 

He was awarded the honorary titles of “2020 Advanced Worker in Energy Conservation Service Industry” by China Energy Conservation Association and “Advanced Individual in Energy Conservation” of Shenzhen.
