James is co-head of Equity Capital Markets (ECM) in the Asia Ex-Japan Financing Group and manages the ECM business in Asia Ex-Japan. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2007 as an associate and was named managing director in 2013. Prior to joining the firm, James worked at Capital Group Companies in Los Angeles. James earned a BA in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
