Bill Block became the U.S. Treasury Attaché to India starting in January 2021. In his twenty year career with the US Treasury, he has served as the Treasury Attaché to China, Turkey, Brazil, Egypt, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He was also senior adviser to the US Treasury Assistant Secretary for International Finance and senior economist at the Council of Economic Advisers. Bill holds a Ph.D. from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs and is a CFA Charterholder.
