Shoaib Ahmed has over 9 years of experience in the Asian debt capital markets covering origination and execution of transactions across high grade and high yield issuers. At ING, he is part of the Global Capital Markets team with a particular focus on offshore bond transactions for Indian companies. He has been involved in several sustainable finance transactions including the debut USD Social Bond deal from Shriram Transport Finance Limited. Shoaib also heads the Private Placements desk for ING in Asia, structuring and executing bespoke bond deals for global issuers into the Asian investor base. Prior to joining ING, Shoaib was part of the Asia bond syndicate team at RBS in Singapore where he worked on the execution of several HG and HY transactions across G3 and local currencies.

 Shoaib graduated from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta with a Post Graduate Diploma in Management. He also has a Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani.
