Hector Lau is Head of Clearing Operations of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd. He has responsibility for the Clearing and Settlement Operations functions of On-exchange cash and derivatives products and Off-exchange OTC Clear products. In addition, Hector oversees the Clearing Participants Administrative and Services functions. Prior to joining Hong Kong Exchange in 2016, Hector had over 20 years of Private Banking, Global Market Middle and Back Offices Operations experiences with Julius Baer, Goldman Sachs, Barclays Capital, and Morgan Stanley.
