Jez joined Nomura as Global Chief Digital Officer, Wholesale in February 2018 and is based in the Dubai
office. Jez’s role is the development and execution of our digital strategy in order to develop a best-in-class framework which will improve trading, client and supervisory capabilities across the business.

Prior to joining Nomura Jez has over 20 years of financial services experience, most recently at Brevan
Howard, where he led the development of systematic trading capabilities with a focus on AI and machineled learning.

Jez has a PhD in Process Systems Engineering and a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Imperial
College, London. Jez has over 10 publications in reputed international mathematical journals.
