Dr. Ke Chen, joined Pengyuan International in October 2017 as Senior Director, Structured Finance. He is primarily responsible for the rating of structured finance transactions.

Prior to joining Pengyuan, Ke worked as a Lead Quantitative Analyst at S&P Global Ratings. He joined S&P Global Ratings New York office in 2011 and internally transferred back to the Hong Kong office to help to build S&P’s APACQuantitative Modelling team. He has been involved in a broad range of Structured Finance deals, including CDO, ABS, RMBS, CMBS, Future flow Securitization, and Non-traditional Securitization. Before joining S&P Global Ratings, he conducted academic research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and developed a new econometric framework for estimating and forecasting corporate default intensities.

Ke earned an MA in Economics from the University of British Columbia, an MS in Statistics and a Ph.D. in Economics fromthe University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
