Paul Worthy joined Tradeweb in April 2006 and is Managing Director of Tradeweb Japan.

After starting his career in Finance Technology with Schroders in London, he moved to Permira global investment firm where he served as Head of IT. In 1999 Paul founded and served as CEO of Konetic – growing the start-up into an enterprise recruitment software platform used by global investment banks and law firms. In 2006, Paul joined Tradeweb as Director of Tradeweb’s Asian technology and operations teams. During his time with Tradeweb in Japan, Paul has covered all areas of the business including responsibility for the development of the JGB and Asian derivative businesses.

Paul holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a Doctorate in Philosophy, both from City University, London.
