Robert’s career spans close to 30 years in the Financial Services industry across banking, fintech and more recently cloud technology as part of Google Cloud’s focus on FSI in the SEA region.  Having initially started his career in investment banking in London, he was an early adopter of new technologies that disrupted the norm in Capital Markets from as far back as 2002.

Robert has spent close on 20yrs in APAC championing the adoption of new disruptive technologies by banks and their clients to deliver value and transition to a new norm.  He moved out of banking into the Fintech space in 2014 before joining Google Cloud in November 2020 to lead GCP’s delivery to a number of global financial institutions in the region.

Aside from a focus on financial markets and disruptive technologies, he also has a passion for sales leadership and a speciality in working closely with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans across the region.
