Dr Scott Flower joined FS-ISAC in November 2019, and prior to that was Head of Risk and Security Research at Deutsche Risk. Between 2006 and 2018 Scott worked in roles responsible for international security research and intelligence analysis as an academic, and for three years as Lead Analyst for the Banking and Finance and Oil and Gas sectors at the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation’s (ASIO’s) critical infrastructure protection directorate. Scott’s return to cyber threat intelligence followed his 2019 completion of the Harvard Kennedy School’s Graduate Program in Cybersecurity Risk Management. Scott’s PhD in Public Policy (Psychology) was awarded in 2010 by the Crawford School of Economics and Government at the Australian National University, (ANU) and his Master of Arts in Strategic and Defence Studies is also from the ANU’s Graduate School of Strategy and Defence.
