Soichiro Matsumoto is Chief Investment Officer Japan in Private Banking, Credit Suisse.

Mr. Matsumoto has 34 years of investment research and portfolio management experience in Japan. Prior to joining Credit Suisse in September 2011, he spent eight years working for a US Asset Management firm as a senior research analyst and portfolio manager in the international equity team and the global equity long short team. He also worked at Nippon Life Insurance as an equity analyst and a portfolio manager for 16 years.

Mr. Matsumoto graduated from the University of Kyushu and is a chartered Member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan.
